This morning, a good 600 people had already taken part in the public survey on the future of mobility in Aachen. Join in!

The EMA is really serious about public participation. Under the motto “Let’s experience the future together”, this network of science, business and the City of Aachen wants to find out from as many people as possible what their opinion is regarding a number mobility concepts that are currently being discussed. This includes, for example, the question of whether drones should be used for transportation purposes, or whether people would find it useful to have an app that bundles all the available e-mobility options.

Anyone who wants to share their opinion can do so until the end of April by visiting www.machmit.ac. And there’s also a chance of winning something. The EMA will draw winners from all the participants for some great prizes, for example annual subscriptions for the E-Bike-Sharer from VeloCity, a weekend with an e-vehicle (including the BMW i3, Opel Ampera-e, and Smart EQ), or tickets for the Kurpark Classix event.

What is the EMA?
The “Living Lab Aachen” (Erlebniswelt Mobilität Aachen – EMA for short) is an innovation network in which the science sector ((RWTH Aachen and FH Aachen) and the business sector (e.GO Mobile AG, Ford Werke GmbH, Lumileds, FEV and numerous start-ups) collaborate with the City of Aachen to develop and test innovative mobility solutions for our future urban environments. The EMA wants to co-design innovations “Made in Aachen” together with the residents of the city.
