Master rankings: FH Aachen once more achieves top rankings

In the current CHE online ranking for Master’s degree programmes, the FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences achieves very good rankings in a number of disciplines.


The FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences achieves a top group place in the categories “Degrees in a reasonable timeframe” and “Research funds per professor” in Mechanical Engineering (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics), and in the category “International orientation in the Master’s programme” in Aerospace Engineering. The Master’s students in this department rate “Support from lecturers”, “Range of courses”, “Organization of studies”, “Support for studying abroad” and “General study situation” as very good. The Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology scored very well in several areas, including the categories “Organization of Studies,” “Transition to Master’s Studies,” and “Support.” At the Jülich campus, the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Energy Technology ranked top in the “Research funds per professor” category.

The “Centrum für Hochschulranking” (CHE)
For more than 20 years, with its university ranking, the CHE (Centre for Higher Education Ranking) has been providing prospective students with information and transparency regarding more than 30 university subjects to help them in their search for the best course for them. It is the most comprehensive and detailed ranking in the German-speaking world, examining more than 300 universities and universities of applied sciences and polling over 150,000 current students. In addition to facts about studying, teaching and research, the ranking includes students’ assessments of the study conditions at their university.
