Intelligent Vehicles

The 33rd IEEE Intelligent Vehicles will take place from June 5th – June 9th in Aachen. International experts from universities, industry and government agencies will gather to discuss the exciting mobility of the future with focus on intelligent vehicles.

The institutes of RWTH are researching diverse topics including synthetic fuels, computer science, high-performance materials, health, renewable resources and mobility. The Institute for Automotive Engineering (ika) is focusing on the mobility of the future – from the idea to innovative components and system concepts to vehicle prototypes. One of the institutes’ steadily growing research areas is automated driving and vehicle intelligence, hence why they are hosting this year’s IV.

The 33rd IEEE IV offers a selected lecture program, workshops, a technical exhibition as well as a social program with plenty of networking opportunities. Companies have the possibility to sponsor the event and present themselves to the event participants. A booth at the technical exhibition as well as diverse advertisements and logo placements are included in the sponsoring packages.

At the final day of the event, a demonstration day is planned at Aldenhoven Testing Center to demonstrate newest technologies and innovative prototypes. The ATC is a state-of-the art interdisciplinary testing center for mobility near Aachen. Demonstrations from research- or education-oriented work and especially developments by high-tech companies will be part of this event day.
