In the 1930s, Bauhaus architect Rudolf Schwarz constructed the building of the KatHO Aachen at 25 Robert-Schuman-Straße. In 2013, it was expanded by a library. In the process, a small "marketplace" was created in between the assembly hall, the café and the library.
